Stephen Pearcy has been a probate lawyer since 1999 and has provided a broad spectrum of legal services for clients needing help with probate, trusts, wills, federal and state income tax, and general business transactions.

Consistent with being a probate lawyer, Stephen is also an estate planning lawyer and a tax preparer. Stephen’s ability to provide affordable crossover services between probate law, trust law and income tax preparation sets him apart from most other probate and estate planning attorneys, because most of the others have higher overhead costs and won’t offer tax preparation services.

Stephen received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics in 1993 from the University of California, Davis. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1998 from Golden Gate University School of Law, San Francisco, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in Legal Writing and Research.

Prior to starting his own law practice, Stephen was a corporate lawyer at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich LLP (now DLA Piper), in Palo Alto, California, where he represented numerous Silicon Valley technology companies, nationally recognized public companies, angel investors, venture capital firms and institutional investors.
